Student Spearheads "Ashlynd's Homeless Project"

Fourth-graders at Mars Area Elementary School will join a cross-curricular activity based on the holiday movie, Home Alone, through the day on Monday & Tuesday, Dec. 19-20, in the gymnasium. The students watched the movie in class and discussed cause and effect. Then, fourth-graders began working in groups to design and build their traps to catch the burglars and save the movie’s main character, Kevin. Parents/guardians are invited to attend the event, which will include holiday music and photo booth opportunities.
