Several fourth-graders in Brian Felicetti’s class at Mars Area Elementary School accepted a challenge to develop an innovative business idea.
As part of the assignment, the students were asked to create a business along with a name, logo and company slogan. The fourth-graders then invented a device that their company could sell and determined who would want to buy their product and why.
Inventions included a prosthetic arm for playing baseball, a helper robot, a new airplane design and more. At the culmination of the project, the students presented their company and inventions to the rest of the class.
