Mars Area Elementary School will participate in the annual Rock Your School event on Thursday, Oct. 2.

Throughout the day, teachers will offer a variety of lessons that deliver ordinary content in extraordinary ways. Students and staff members will also be encouraged to wear their best rock & roll gear to school and, at 2 p.m., a rock superstar (portrayed by a Mars Area School District staff member) will visit the school.

Rock Your School is part of a national “Get Your Teach On” educational movement that energizes teachers to create outside-the-box educational experiences designed to engage students and bring learning to life in the classroom.
