Mars Area Elementary School students joined in a Spring Craft Event, sponsored by the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program.

Student in Grades 2-4 decorated a set  of four tile coasters utilizing a variety of art techniques, using mod podge to affix decorative paper napkins and paper designs, tracing stencils, and creating tie-dye designs with Sharpie markers and glass cleaner.

The event was a great way to promote  the positive culture that the students and staff at the school have built together, said Dr. Samantha Flanhofer, assistant principal. It was also a great opportunity for students to apply their artistic abilities and create a masterpiece.
