Mars Elementary is offering an opportunity for your 3rd and 4th grader to participate in The MAE Best Buddies Club!
Best Buddies Elementary Schools offers a rich and diverse way to teach awareness, integrate students with IDD with their peers, and nurture genuine friendships. Best Buddies Mars Elementary empowers students with and without IDD to develop leadership skills at a young age while fostering an environment of tolerance and acceptance at school.
This extra-curricular program will be offered on the last school Monday of the month. The program will begin directly after school at 3:45pm and pick up will be at 4:45pm. This year we will be accepting the first 100 students who sign up through the below google form.
**Please note - this google form is not the official club registration. The official registration link will be sent to the first 100 students that sign up using the form below. Once you receive the official MAE BB registration link you will need to complete it as well.**
In order to create the best learning experience for the students they will be split into two groups - Group A and Group B. Each group will meet every other month (Ex: Group A meets in September while Group B meets in October). All students with IDD will participate every month.
