In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), second-graders in Melissa Carchedi, Jessica Kozak and Jennifer Renner’s classes completed a beautification project in Mars Area Elementary School’s interior courtyard.

 

The students set to work, pulling weed and planting flowers in the landscaped areas around the courtyard. The students also assembled six planter pots, in which they transplanted flowers.
