In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Mars Area Elementary School treated students in Grades 2-4 to a Irish Dance demonstration on March 16.

 

The school welcomed members of Bell School of Irish Dance, including Mars Area HighSchool sophomore Rachel Blawas and freshman Makenna Myler; Mars Area Centennial School sixth-grader Meredith Lindsay and fifth-graders Emma Johnston and Molly Yurisinic; Mars Area Elementary School fourth-graders Nora Connolly and Anna Ferrell, third-graders Mackenzie Schnur and Ellie Spaulding, and second-graders Elizabeth Evans and Olivia Evans. The students, along with dancer Sophia Bowers, entertained students and teachers, introducing a variety of Irish dance styles.
