Mars Area Elementary PTO is collecting donations for its annual “March for Mars” fundraiser.

As part of the fundraiser, students are asked to collect donations to benefit Mars Area Elementary PTO’s support of educational programs at Mars Area School District’s elementary schools. At the culmination of the fundraiser, students will participate in a walkathon on the following dates:

• Wednesday, Oct. 1 — Mars Area Primary Center
• Thursday, Oct. 2 — Mars Area Centennial School
• Friday, Oct. 3 — Mars Area Elementary School

Students will be eligible to earn prizes based upon the dollar amount collected. Checks may be made payable to “Mars Elementary PTO” and may be dropped off at the student’s school building.
