Incoming Mars Area Elementary School third-grader Madison Do earned first place in the Girls 7-9 Division of the 2021 Drive, Chip & Putt Sub-Regional Qualifier, held Aug. 11 at Nemacolin Woodlands.

Do earned a total of 54 points with three shots in each of the Drive (6 points) Chip (8 points) and Putt (40 points) skills areas. She will advance to the 2021 Drive, Chip & Putt Regional Qualifier, to be held Sept. 19 at Oak Hill Country Club (Rochester, N.Y.).
