The Fourth Grade Gold Team, made up of Mars Area Elementary School fourth-graders Monica Grunden, Carys Hertzog, Meredith Lindsay, Mackenzie Powell, Shea Radford, Isabella Schuller and Emersyn Thimons, advanced to the second round of the competition.
The Fourth Grade Blue Team, including fourth-graders Lauren Golebiewski, Addison Jacoby, Alaina McCurdy, Danielle Mollica, Gia Raishart, Karmella Vigliotti and Reese Vuckovich, competed in the first round of the playoffs.
