Mars Area Elementary School will celebrate Read Across America Week, March 4-7, as follows:
- Monday, March 4 — “Read Your Shirt” Day — Students may wear a shirt with letters or words.
- Tuesday, March 5 — “Celebrate Read Across America” Day — Students may wear red, white and blue.
- Wednesday, March 6 — “Be the Kind Kid & Read” Day — Students may wear their #bethekindkid shirts or school colors (blue & gold)
- Thursday, March 7 — “Crazy Fox in Socks” Day — Students may wear crazy socks or tie-dye colors.
