Mars Area School District’s elementary schools will celebrate National Library Week, April 24-28, as follows:
- Monday, April 24 — “Snuggle Up with a Good Book” Day — Students may wear pajamas and/or bring a stuffed animal
- Tuesday, April 25 — “Celebrate National Library Workers” Day — Students may wear their school librarian’s favorite colors — red & yellow (K-1), pink & yellow (2-4), blue & green (5-6)
- Wednesday, April 26 — “Celebrate Being a Community of Readers” Day — Students may wear their #bethekindkidapparel or school colors (blue & gold)
- Thursday, April 27 — “Celebrate the Non-Fiction Section” Day — Students may wear a shirt highlighting a non-fiction topic
- Friday, April 28 — “Reading is Magical!” Day — Students may wear tie dye or a shirt featuring a book character
