Mars Area Elementary School fourth-graders will join in an Escape Room activity at 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Butler County Community College education students will lead fourth-graders through a Thanksgiving-themed Escape Room. The students will be asked to complete puzzles and games focused on English Language Arts skills (characterization, main idea, and theme) as they attempt to flee a turkey farm.
The program is part of a continued collaboration between Mars Area Elementary School and Butler County Community College’s Early Childhood Education program.
