Mars Area School District’s elementary schools (K-6) will celebrate National Library Week, Monday April 4, through Friday, April 8:
- Monday, April 4 — “Non-fiction Books EXERCISE Our Minds” Day — Students may wear exercise clothes.
- Tuesday, April 5 — “Reading Rainbow” Day — Students in each grade level are asked to wear a designated color — kindergarten (red), first grade (blue), second grade (orange), third grade (yellow), fourth grade (green), fifth grade (purple), sixth grade (white/pink).
- Wednesday, April 6 — “Reading Can be Funny & Make Us Laugh” Day — Students may wear mismatched clothing.
- Thursday, April 7 — “Reading is MAGICAL” Day — Students may dress like a superhero, princess or wizard.
- Friday, April 8 — “Reading is ADVENTUROUS” Day — Students may wear safari, animal print, or camouflage clothing
